Warren, Ohio (CBS) It was a squirrely situation.
Wayne Mackey, a Warren, Ohio police detective, has seen a lot during his years on the force, but nothing prepared him for what happened a few weeks ago, when he was interviewing a witness on a recent murder case.
At one point in the interview, the woman, wearing a skimpy tank top, leaned over and out of her bosom crept a baby squirrel that was nestled in the woman's cleavage. The woman, seemingly unphased, gently put the small creature back inside her shirt and continued talking to the detective.
The shocked detective said that he was at a loss for words. "The squirrel seemed quite happy," Mackey said.
It is not clear if the squirrel is the woman's pet or even why she decided to bring with her for the interview.
The two are not expected to be called to testify during the trial.

Harry Potter Star Rupert Grint has the swine flu
Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint has the distinction of being the first celebrity to suffer from the swine flu according to Telegraph.
“It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu,” his publicist said.
“He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the junket and premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards.”
The 20 year old actor is no longer contagious and has beat the swine flu, but I wonder how many reporters are going to refuse to interview him at the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince junket and premiere because of it. I am not sure I would want to interview him knowing he just recently suffered from it, would you?

2 killed in fireworks truck blast in North Carolina
Two people were killed and three others were in critical condition Saturday when a truck carrying fireworks on North Carolina's Outer Banks exploded, officials said.
Smoke from the explosion of a truck carrying fireworks rises over Ocracoke Island, North Carolina, Saturday.
Smoke from the explosion of a truck carrying fireworks rises over Ocracoke Island, North Carolina, Saturday.
Jamie Tunnell, Hyde County spokeswoman, said the fireworks were to be used for the annual Fourth of July show on Ocracoke Island, and the five people were members of the crew setting up the display.
The truck exploded at the Ocracoke Island docks.
One person was killed at the scene, while another died at a hospital from injuries sustained in the blast, Tunnell said.
Emergency crews and firefighters arrived. Tunnell said two volunteer firefighters were being treated for smoke inhalation and exhaustion.
Joseph Chestnut, 16, was working at the Ride the Wind kayak-rental stand in Ocracoke when he heard the explosion across the harbor. He thought a home under construction had collapsed, he told CNN's iReport. iReport.com: Smoke rises from explosion site
"I saw all these fireworks blowing up," he said. "They were low, and I knew that something was wrong." Video Watch images from the scene »
"It was just really scary. There's never been an accident like that before that I've seen here," Chestnut added.

The Hatteras Island ferry service was temporarily suspended, but had reopened by midday, and Highway 12 was clear, she said. The island, which is part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, can be reached only by ferry, private boat or plane.
The FBI and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were going to investigate on Saturday, she said.
